“I just purchased Zgo VPS, so here’s my experience so far.
The Zgo VPS is aimed at Chinese customers and focus on the Chinese Market. “I would like to point out that if you plan to sell products or services to China, Zgo VPS is a great choice because all routes to China are optimized, ensuring fast speeds.”
ZgoVPS is a service provider offering high cost-performance U.S. VPS, with its data center located in Los Angeles. It ensures a high-speed and stable network experience for Chinese users by forcing the return route of the three major ISPs (China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom) to go through the China Unicom AS4837 route. The VPS uses KVM virtualization technology, equipped with the latest Xeon Platinum 8452Y processors, supporting DDR5 4400/4800 memory, and features PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage arrays. It is well-suited for users who need high performance and stability.”

In summary:
The performance of the AMD Ryzen platform is exceptionally powerful, nearly capable of taking on two Intel processors in comparison.
In terms of network performance, all outbound connections for the three major ISPs (China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Mobile) are direct to prevent attacks. For inbound routes, China Telecom uses CN2, China Unicom uses CUII, and China Mobile uses CMIN2 to return to China. All three ISPs’ inbound routes are via high-end, dedicated links. Multiple tests during peak hours show that the performance is quite impressive.
Additionally, this service supports unlocking major platforms such as Netflix, Spotify, Steam, and ChatGPT, providing users with a more comprehensive experience.

After purchasing a ZGO VPS, you may be prompted to set up an SSH key. It’s recommended to skip this step initially and instead set up a login password for the server. Once the initial setup is complete, you can manually configure an SSH key if needed for enhanced security and convenience. After configuring the server, ZGO VPS will send you an email containing the server login details, including the username, password, and port. Use the login password provided in the email for access.
After using it for almost two months, I’m really pleased with the experience. The speed has been solid—fast enough to meet my needs. Most readers of this blog are based in North America and Europe, and the performance has been great for them. Access from China is also smooth, averaging around 150ms. In the U.S., connection speeds are even faster, between 2ms and 3ms, thanks to the server being in Los Angeles. The quick response time has definitely added to the overall experience, and I’m genuinely happy with the setup.
