How can we benefit from the growth of our customers? By adopting an investment mindset towards customer relationships, we can reap the compounding benefits of their growth.

If you charge 5 million yuan per new client, aiming to earn 50 million yuan means you need to serve ten clients well, which can be exhausting. Every new client requires an adjustment period, which often feels like falling into a pit of agony due to the necessity of training each one anew.

However, maintaining a good relationship with an existing client is different. By providing excellent service and supporting their growth, you can benefit from their expansion. It might be a bit more effort initially; if you charge them 5 million in the first year, and they go public five years later, you could be charging them 25 million.

This service strategy requires just one initial effort, with subsequent services involving only maintenance and revisions. The clients are also happy, as the installment payment plan reduces their financial burden.

This is why we can handle three clients a month: two returning clients and one new one. If we had to take on three new clients every month, it would be impossible given the current size of our company.

Therefore, it is essential to adopt an investment mindset when dealing with clients, as the dividends from their growth represent our compound interest.
