Leverage emotion, don’t pursue rationality.

High Low EQ

Is high emotional intelligence (EQ) essential in life?

High EQ is particularly important when resources are scarce and there’s a need to please others, similar to how low-end brands constantly try to cater to consumer preferences—a sign of weakness and humility that stems from a lack of real power.

High EQ often comes at the cost of dignity, engaging in low-level, ruthless competition. Consider the powerful brands and individuals with strong product capabilities—they don’t bother to charm you; instead, they may intellectually dominate and even disdain you, yet you still find yourself drawn to purchase their products.

The strength of a brand isn’t derived from low prices, but from the power of its products and the inherent capability to create a desire to buy.
